Booking Terms & Conditions
- Rates are subject to availability and may change without notice.
- To check rates please book online www.fernhill-hotel.co.uk or we will happily calculate for you
- Check-in is from 3.00 pm and check-out is by 11.00 am. If you need your room to be ready earlier please give us as much notice as you can and we will always try to oblige. A late check-out (1pm) can be arranged prior to arrival for a £20 per room surcharge.
- There is a minimum 2 night booking requirement for all Bank Holidays & weekends from July-Sept only.
- Per room per night costs are based on 2 people sharing (except Studio - 2xAdults 3xChildren). For single occupancy please check our ‘book online’ facility or call us for up to date prices.
- *Studio room accommodates 2 adults & up to 3 children as standard on a B&B basis, plus 2 z-beds/cots can be added if required. Children are always B&B with additional services for 2 adults only.
- Some rooms (no.s 2,3,4,5) can accommodate 1 z bed or cot for a child u-16yrs. Please add £30 for a z-bed, £15 for a cot.
- Children staying in a separate room from parents are charged as adults. Sorry we do not allow children under 16yrs to occupy a room alone.
- A La Carte menu available 7 days per week for resident guests. We are happy to cater for special dietary requirements if we know in advance.
- Complete exclusivity for family get-togethers or Corporate training days can be arranged. This has the added benefit that the hotel is closed to other guests, ensuring complete privacy for your event.
Cancellation:
We are aware that sometimes our guests, for various reasons, need to cancel a booking. We try to be as flexible as we can when this happens, and follow the policy set out below to ensure everyone is treated fairly. We highly recommend Holiday Insurance which is inexpensive and protects you should circumstances mean you are unable to enjoy your booking.
Your deposit secures your booking and is non-refundable, but may be applied for 3 months to a future booking should you have to cancel. Your reservation is a legally binding contract and if you have to cancel for any reason, you may be liable to pay the total cost of your stay unless we can re-let your room/s.
Cancellation less than 96hrs (4 days) = 50% of total stay will be charged.
Cancellation less than 48hrs (2 days) = 100% of total stay will be charged.
