

Food at the Fernhill Hotel
Our chef has been creating amazing food for years and is passionate, as we are, about using the freshest local ingredients and creating every dish from scratch, without genetically modified ingredients, additives or preservatives.
We buy local and seasonal first, organic second and fair-trade wherever possible to ensure that your food is as fresh and un-travelled as it can be – both for the quality of the food and to minimise our impact on the environment.
Meat comes from a local farm, yoghurt and cream from a local dairy, and bread from our local bakery in Charmouth. We know our suppliers well, which means we can be confident of the end result we serve to you.
The restaurant has a lovely colonial feel with mahogany tables and leather chairs. The views over the swimming pool and across the Char Valley make every visit memorable. There is a sense of intimacy in the restaurant which ensures that your party – however large or small - can enjoy their meal in relative privacy from other guests.
Our restaurant is open Tuesday – Saturday Evenings and for Sunday Lunch for all – both guests and non-residents. Please call to book a table.
